Anytime Home Care of Jamaica spearheaded by Pastor Joan Gumbs and her team held their inaugural graduation at the Montego/Westgate Hills Baptist Church on Monday, February 20, 2017. Six (6) students graduated as Home Care Assistants, the first of its kind in Montego Bay and Jamaica, at large.

Guest speaker was Councilor for the Mt Salem division, which includes the Westgate Hills community, Mr. Kerry Thomas, who admonished the graduates to listen to the elderly, “talk with them, and help them to remain dignified.”

The Western Mirror’s Barrington Flemming was in attendance and recorded the event for posterity in the March 3, 2017 edition of the Western Mirror.
